BEAUTY Is Everywhere

Keywords: downtown regina art, street graffiti, door alley art, dyptich, dark & light

My approach, simple and sensitive, adapts to the subject.

Here, art in the city, mainly the alley of painted doors and graffiti.

During my urban wanderings, I am driven by the unexpected and work instinctively on the emergence of something new. It is a call to wonder, to see new each time, to ask for the sensitive chord that helps to lose the track of time, to press the pause button and ponder.

The image is one in many or many in one, there is some kind of truth behind what is is seen.

On-site shooting then a post-production exercise where things stettle to create something as close to the emotion of the shooting moment as possible.

Below are possible reading tracks:

- the use of format, perspective

- the handling of light and shadow

- the lines of force

- in this series, the narrative is a combination of two photographs except three of them: the fringe, the space, the visible and invisible link between the two

- how the city blends in or stands out from the rest of the image

- the rhetoric of the image

- picture in picture

- honoring the beauty in all things
