OSAGES

let it go!

In Osage language - Indian tribe - osages mean « children of the middle waters ». The osage-orange (Maclura pomifera) is also the tree that serves them to make paintings and bows. The series is born from a look to things that we do not notice at first sight. While painting, my colors naturally mix on the palette and the imagination takes over. Photography records the existence of that original, unique but ephemeral state of things.

Series of 22. Ink-jet prints on art paper, 40 x 32 cm, margins included, unframed. Edition of 3. Creation 2008
